I feel elated in creating every space of my own home with gorgeous artistry designs to bring in joy and mood to cherish forever.The journey of graduating from IDI Institute to switch over my career from my IT to Interior deigns and homedecors was truly passionate about the field. It made me to invest in real estate which was always in my dream and finally my dream came true.Also I am proud to me a member of IDI Institute Community which gave me a lot of in-depth insights on the course material and in a way I am now.
It’s indeed an amazing and thrilling experience after I been graduated for a period of 7 to 8 months of learning period with IDI, Singapore. I always had a passion in home decors and luckily I signed up this course on my birthday April 6th.The course modules are very comprehensive and the tutor and student support group has always been there in making positive and negative comments at the end of each assignment. Every marking of the end of module will be so curious for me to see my tutor comments.I am so glad to see my module performance score of 80% at the end. Overall it gave me a wonderful new experience in starting a new career as well. Assignments have been always set to test the capacity of understanding of each module intensively before submission. If the work is not set to the matching requirement will be reset to ammend and resubmit again to moveon to the next module. So it is learning in our own pace within the timeline of the completion of the course.
It made me to learn the different architectural buildings styles and history which dated back to old centuries even. I gained knowledge in design styles, space planning, lighting, colour, Interior finishes, decorative textiles and fabrics, furniture art and accessories. Also it gives an overall idea to work with new clients, visual communication and finally setting up my own Interior business in future.Last but not least the full credit goes to my tutor who always gave honest feedback on the assignment works which I submitted and the student support group as well.
As a beginner of this IDI field,I always look forward to equip my skills further in knowing the advanced modules like Sketch up and creating a website on my own to establish myself in the field.I am again glad to share that I am successful in graduating in setting up your own website in a period of 5 weeks.Creating a website is like building a home on a piece of given land meaning creating webpages for individual or commercial purposes and then hosting your content in a webserver .This can be two ways in hosting methodology. .one is fully hosted and another one is self hosted in wordpress.I learnt a lot of interesting IT related skills like registering a domain name and hosting it in a webserver to land the created pages.I did created a webmail service under the domain for other people to reach out to me.Also I completed the course with 80 % of marks.It’s purely for blogging purpose and would still like to play around with the themes and content I wish to publish in that.
